i am installing a 9x7 garage door. my rough opening is 9'3"x7'1-1/2". I understand the goal post concept but how do i close up the rough opening? do i just trim everything out with 1x6 ? which would bring my opening size to 9'1-1/2"x7'0-3/4..do i just leave a 3/4 air gap all the way around the door to get to my actual door size of 9'x7'?
