The chargeback process can be boring, confusing, and even stressful for traders. But they ignore the problem at their peril, because chargebacks - when a cardholder disputes a transaction in order to get their money back while retaining the product or services rendered - account for 35% of all fraud losses. Chargebacks can result from issues arising from a transaction, product or service being sold, and also occur frequently due to credit card fraud.
