The cutting mat holds the material in the correct position while the Cricut cuts the projects. Once you have loaded the mat into the machine, connect your machine to the computer or smartphone. Plug in the machine and power it on. Pair your Android or iOS device with Cricut.com/setup (https://en-cricutts.com) machine via Bluetooth. Download and install the Design Space app (help article). Launch the app, then sign in or create a Cricut ID. Tap the menu and select Machine Setup & App Overview. Select New Machine Cricut.com/setup . Follow the on-screen prompts to complete setup.
